I'm obsessed with my new prescription sunglasses! I've been after something similar to Ray-Bans Round Metal style for a while, and these frames fit the bill. I purchased upgrades on the lenses (polarised, UV protection, and a thinner lens) and couldn't be happier with the result. Definitely recommend, and would certainly purchase again.
These definitely have exceeded my expectations. The weight of this frame is quite hefty, I would say they edge out the Ray Bans. The temples are sturdy, and as all koalaeye glasses are, formable to your own ears by submerging the tips into hot water and bending to your form. I'm a bit cautious about the hinges because those seem to be the main point of breaks in frames but I'm starting to feel a bit more confident in the integrity of the hinge. Still cautious... I think it'd be fantastic if koalaeye included a screwdriver for the screws that may come loose. Once form fitted to my head, the weight doesn't crush my ears nor does it feel irritating on my bridge, I find myself driving and wearing this all day outside without any problems. I like that I feel it's weight so I notice if it's on my head. I have prescription lens and my eyes are pretty bad (aka thick lenses) but the frames hold the lens with no problem, I don't hear any creaking or feel any slight shifts of the lens fitted into the frame. The frames are also not very big so if you have a small face, these won't over shadow your face, giving you weird proportions. Idk if you're looking make your face smaller with eye wear, but wearing larger frames isn't always the way to go.
