The effect of the orthokeratology lens in controlling the increase of myopia in teenagers has been unanimously affirmed by the ophthalmology industry at home and abroad. In February 2006, an authoritative ophthalmological journal published a review of the retarding effect of rigidity breathable orthokeratology lens on the progression of myopia in children. This paper reviews the literature on orthokeratology and myopia in the past 30 years and points out that rigidity breathable orthokeratology can prevent or alleviate the progress of myopia, the mechanism of which is that rigid breathable contact lens can inhibit the progress of myopia by providing clearer retinal image quality. Medium and high concentration of atropine will affect students' near-use vision, while low concentration of atropine has not been used clinically in China, so orthokeratology lens has become one of the known myopia control methods with the best statistical effect. In three to five-year case studies, orthokeratology lenses alleviate a 40 to 60 percent increase in myopia compared with wearing a frame lens or a soft contact lens. Other studies have found that 65 to 70 percent of orthokeratology lens wearers show little or no axial length increase.

Glasses Size - Bridge Width

The bridge width is the distance between two lenses, measured from the innermost layer of each lens. Finding the right bridge width will allow your sunglasses or glasses to be put properly on the bridge of your nose. The bridge of the nose is an essential element because even though the frame looks pretty attractive, it helps people see more clearly. The precise distance between the two lenses helps reduce the pressure on the eye, helping the nose, without putting too much pressure on the inside of the eye. The size of the eye and the size of the bridge is usually adjacent, sometimes separated by a square icon.

What Are High Index Lenses?

They filter out excess light to provide maximum comfort. And provide high contrast and minimize glare. They provide increased color recognition and depth perception.

Oval frame

Soft and smooth lines, implicit and introverted, reflect the gentle and quiet fair maiden style. It seems that the first pair of glasses worn by everyone who is nearsighted is oval, basically in high school. It seems to have a student era of green implicit, quiet lady. Even in middle age, there are a lot of people who will choose a lot of beautiful styles of oval frames. It seems that in their hearts, they all want to stay young forever.

What kind of frames should children choose?

Children should try to choose silicone when they choose the frame, especially when they are very young. Pay attention to avoid wearing the frame with a nose pad as far as possible. Children are younger and their bones are in the developing period. What does vision insurance cover?

Vision insurance and vision benefit plans usually cover the cost of annual eye exams, prescription glasses, and/or contact lenses. Vision insurance includes traditional health/medical policies and health/discount plans that provide vision benefits and cover most.
